Just write. And Update About Donations!

Not knowing what to write, I'm just going to write a little of what's on my mind... It's a little over three weeks until I leave. There's a lot I feel I need to get done before going, including but not limited to, cleaning (out) my room, lining up classes that i may be interested in taking at UCLA winter quarter, formally and individually thanking each of my donors, maybe getting a rabies vaccine, raising the rest of the money to cover flight and medical, selling or leasing out my horse, picking a place to live during winter quarter, and OH! packing! I just found the SIC folder I have with all of my prefield papers and notes that I made from others' recommendations, so I feel that I now have the freedom to actually concentrate on preparing THINGS. But I feel acutely stressed about many of the aforementioned "to dos"... so I am now chosing (and asking for your support in chosing) to know that divine unfoldment is under way and that everything happens in order. WOW! That feels so much better.

As for all of you-- just an update on the funds front: I have, as of today, collected $2706 in donations!! THANK YOU so much for the support you give me! This is a little over the cost of my program fees ($2650). Also, TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations have at this point been covered completely. So if you wish to make a donation to my specific trip, it cannot be deducted on your taxes. The opportunity always exists, however, to donate to SIC at large at www.sichange.org and deduct that way. The organization is a non-profit, non-religious, financialy transparent NGO that relies on volunteer program fees and donations. Thank you. I am still accepting donations, which will be covering the necessary flight, transit visa, immunizations, malaria medication and travel insurance.

Thank you for the many ways you show your love.

Peace.
